A Brief Introduction:
This course is designed for those who have either completed the Introductory Course or are at a reasonably competent level of Digital Photography knowledge, and wish to advance their camera and photo taking skills beyond good ‘snap shots’.
Designed to get you out of ‘Auto’ and ‘Program’, we essentially look at the ‘A’, ‘S’ and ‘M’ settings of a DSLR + More.... This allows you the scope to further your creative skills.
To get the best out of this course it is advised you have a DSLR (Digital - Single Lens Reflex) camera. Please contact us at PhotoCoffee if you would like advise on cameras / lenses / equipment. As we are professional photographers, we are very aware of camera gear. We are also a reseller for all types of cameras and gear.
Requirements:
1. Digital SLR preferred to gain the best from this course.
2. Have completed the Introduction to Digital Photography Course, or have a good understanding of your digital camera and settings.
3. Tripod (for homework - not required at the course). Not essential, but helpful.
4. Additional Flash (desirable - but not essential)

2. Enhancing your Camera – Accessories / Useful Equipment / Lens Talk - Discussing the Best Lens(s) for your Photography
3. Camera Settings - White Balance / ISO
4. In Depth look at: Aperture / Depth of Field / Shutter Speed
5. Visit the Histogram - Understanding Levels and Light

8. Metering - Various Camera Metering Types and how to apply them - i.e. Spot / Centre Weighted / Matrix

The Instructor:
Kingsley Klau is a Professional Photographer who has over 15 years in the photography teaching arena.
He is is a fully accredited AIPP photographer and is very clubs supportive. He is a previous President of the WAPF, and the Club Founder - Vice President of the Rockingham Photography Club. He also teaches for Nikon Australia, Shoot Photography in Perth and conducts photo trips.
He enjoys the fellowship of photography and taking photos on an international scale.
